Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Student Produce Clerk (After School, Weekends, & Holidays) at our Food Store location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Requirements

  • Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work that you do.
  • Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including regular lifting of 25-50lbs, walking, and standing for an entire shift.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
  • Flexible work schedule, including after school, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
  • Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
  • Stock and display products with a focus on well-organized, visually appealing presentation.
  • Monitor code dates and product quality to ensure the freshest inventory is on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
  • Prepare ready-to-eat produce products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records.
  • Receive product and unload freight, ensuring produce is correctly stored.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department.
  • Support and follow Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and practices.
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
