About The Position

In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Student Physical Therapist is responsible for maintaining enrollment in an accredited physical therapy program. The Student Physical Therapist will need to submit all required paperwork to show that status as a student is in good standing. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Maintain good standing with a physical therapy program.
• Submit grades at the end of the semester required.
• Provide proof of enrollment for next semester required to demonstrate continual progress.
• Verbal, clerical, numerical, and manual dexterity, color vision and near visual acuity, proper lifting techniques and body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Maintains physical therapy student status throughout the program.
• Submits all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
• Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
