About The Position

The photographer will work closely with staff members in the Marketing and Communications Office to photograph a variety of people, places, and events at St. Olaf. The photographer is responsible for capturing, editing, and archiving images from a variety of people and events at St. Olaf. The photographer is responsible for the management of our Smugmug media library, meta tagging, and oversees the proper organization of our assets.

Requirements

• Strong photography skills.
• Experience taking journalistic-style photographs.
• Experience with photo editing programs like Photoshop.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
