About The Position

Fanshawe Athletics and Recreation is currently recruiting for energetic and dedicated students to join our team for the Fall 2026 Term. This job posting covers all available student vacancies within Fanshawe Athletics and Recreation, including Recreation Athletic Assistants, Photographer, Videographer, Promotions Assistant, Varsity Game Announcer, Graphic Designer, Varsity Trainer/Manager, Varsity Event Staff, and Minor Officials. Selected candidates will be contacted for a screening process and may be asked to complete a questionnaire. Requirements

  • Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student
  • Previous customer service or manual labour experience would be an asset
  • Transcripts are mandatory as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

  • Customer service
  • Oversee Recreation activities and tournaments
  • Maintain equipment inventory
  • Capture photos at Varsity and Recreation events
  • Edit photos
  • Capture/edit/create video footage from Varsity and Recreation events
  • Content creation for Fanshawe Athletics social media accounts
  • Other duties related to promotions
  • Announcer at home Varsity games/events
  • Create/design content to be used for promoting Fanshawe Athletics
  • Provide support to Varsity teams
  • Assistance at practices/games
  • Additional tasks assigned by Head Coach
  • Responsible for setup/teardown of Varsity events
  • Additional tasks related to facility maintenance
  • Responsible for scorekeeping, time clock, shot clock and statistics for varsity games/events
