About The Position
Ledcor Highways is offering a unique, fully funded training opportunity for individuals to upgrade their Class 5 driver's license to a Class 3 license. This program aims to support growth in the highway maintenance industry by training safety-oriented individuals to keep highways and communities safe. Upon acquiring the Class 3 license, participants will develop the skills necessary to become safe and competent winter plow operators, supporting winter and summer operations across the Province. This opportunity may lead to full-time or seasonal employment. Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Possess a minimum Class 5 License without restrictions
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Able to pass an Alberta medical exam and vision screening exam (necessary to obtain Class 3 license)
- Safety-oriented with a commitment to quality
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks
- Approved applicants must commit to a minimum employment term.
Responsibilities
- Support winter and summer operations across the Province.
- Become a safe and competent winter plow operator.

- Engage in shift work, on-call duties, and night shifts.
