Student Nursing Tech (SNT) - Critical Care Unit (ICU) Per Diem
About The Position
Hartford HealthCare’s Student Nursing Technician program offers nursing students an opportunity to enhance their clinical skills in a specialty area. Students who have completed one semester of clinical experience can work up to full-time. The Student Nursing Technician performs delegated aspects of patient care on an assigned unit, working under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes collecting, reporting, and recording patient data and assisting patients with activities of daily living. Applicants should submit an online application, a cover letter stating their area of interest, and a resume listing their current GPA. Candidates selected for an interview will be asked to bring an unofficial transcript and two letters of recommendation from clinical instructors.
Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a BSN program.
- Must have completed one semester of clinicals or have previous CNA experience or certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform delegated aspects of patient care on an assigned unit.
