About The Position
Provides multi-skilled, direct patient care, under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in your future specialty within various departments including PCU, Cardiology, Medical Specialties, Oncology/Neurology, Orthopedics, and Surgical Specialties. Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Requirements
- Currently Enrolled in a Nursing Program (RN or BSN)
- No Experience Required
- None-Required Supervisor Experience
- No Licenses & Certifications Required

Responsibilities
- Assists nurse with patient and family education.
- Documents all patient care activities provided.
- Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs.
- Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse.
- Collects clinical data and information on patients, and documents appropriately.
- Instructs patients in preparations for tests and procedures.
- Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
