About The Position

This role involves collaborating with RN preceptors to deliver direct, compassionate nursing care and assist patients with essential activities of daily living. The intern will master clinical fundamentals by accurately monitoring vital signs and observing patient status to ensure timely medical responses. They will influence care planning by reporting critical observations and test results, directly contributing to the development of patient treatment strategies. The intern will also maintain real-time documentation of patient progress and environmental safety to ensure seamless communication across the healthcare team, and support clinical flow by preparing and transporting patients for diagnostic services and managing the immediate care environment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High school diploma/GED required.
Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer.
