About The Position

This role involves providing direct, high-quality nursing care and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) under the supervision of a Registered Nurse preceptor. The intern will assess and track patient vital signs, status, and clinical responses, documenting and reporting critical observations. They will also assist in developing and updating patient care plans by reporting diagnostic test results and clinical observations, and optimize unit efficiency by managing patient preparations, coordinating transport for diagnostic services, and performing essential environmental and assigned support tasks.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High school diploma/GED required.
Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer required.

Responsibilities
