About The Position

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse I (SNAP) for our Cardiac Short Stay Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. The Student Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN. Assists patients with activities of daily living. Provides for personal care & comfort. Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program
Successful completion of first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program
Minimum 2.75 GPA
Not listed on Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry
Basic math skills
Basic computer knowledge
Effective verbal and written communication skills
