About The Position

The Student Nurse Assistant (SNA) role at UW Health provides direct physical care to patients in selected situations where thorough knowledge of technique and demonstration of competency is required. The SNA works under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse when caring for patients. This is a year-round position with flexible hours that can be arranged around a school schedule, requiring one 8-12 hour shift per week, with the option to pick up more hours if desired and available. The role offers networking opportunities with nursing staff and leaders.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an accredited Nursing program (Associate or Bachelor of Science)
  • Successful completion of the program’s hands-on entry-level clinical course
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Must complete and upload the SNA Supplemental Packet to the applicant profile.
