About The Position

The Lansing School District is seeking Student Mentors for the AIM High Summer School program. These mentors will provide peer-to-peer academic and life skill support to 7th and 8th-grade students. Responsibilities include co-facilitating Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) small group lessons and learning leadership skills such as college readiness, resume building, and interview techniques. This role is designed for four high school students, working 6 hours per day for 28 days, Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 2 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Provide peer-to-peer academic support to 7-8 grade students.
