Student Maintenance (Summer)
About The Position
Fitness and Recreation strives to help all student employees develop their career readiness upon graduation. Student Employees are applying academic learning by developing workforce competencies, per The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) guidelines which are: Critical Thinking/Problem Solving, Oral/Written Communications, Teamwork/Collaboration, Digital Technology, Leadership, Professionalism/Work Ethic, Career Management, Global/Intercultural Fluency. This position is for employment during Summer 2026 semester. Facilities Maintenance student employees are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of Sarkeys Fitness Center and other Fitness and Recreation facilities, including recreational fields.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must have a current/valid driver's license

Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms and locker rooms
- Other duties as assigned
- Will respond during emergency situations
- Customer service
