The Assistant Director of Student Academic Success (SAS) is a key leadership role within the Office of Student Engagement and Success (SES) at the College of Veterinary Medicine. This position is responsible for overseeing academic success initiatives for students in the DVM program, providing direct supervision to the Student Case Managers for Accommodations, Student Progression, Grade Reporting and Tracking, and Academic Coaching. The Assistant Director works closely with the Associate Dean for Student Engagement and Success, the Associate Dean for Professional Education, and the Dean to identify and resolve emerging academic concerns and deliver comprehensive, high-quality support services to students. The Director ensures integration across academic and student life functions and serves as a central liaison for academic standing processes, academic records, accreditation reporting, and student-facing communication.
