Requirements
- Currently enrolled in college with an academic focus on biological sciences
- Sterilization and stocking techniques
Responsibilities
- Clean and sterilize glassware
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment
- Perform sterilization of labware
- Handle and decontaminate biohazardous waste
- Stock supplies in the laboratory
- Prepare reagents
- Maintain all laboratory spaces
- Complete assigned tasks independently following an initial training period
- Perform project-related work on early animal vaccine research for several viral and bacterial pathogens as opportunities arise
