About The Position

The College of Arts and Sciences Information Technology unit (CAS-IT) is hiring an undergraduate student employee. We provide on-site I.T. support for various College of Arts and Sciences departments and their faculty, staff and labs. You may expect to gain experience with computer imaging, hardware, operating system and software troubleshooting, network file and printer sharing, Active Directory, SCCM, JAMF, MS Remote Desktop and more.

Must be able to work summers

Nice To Haves

Experience and/or interest in any of the following:
Windows 11 & Mac OS
Basic computer troubleshooting
Basic understanding of computer hardware
Use of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

Monitor, prioritize and respond to help tickets for hardware, software and OS issues
Troubleshoot software, hardware and OS issues
Assist faculty/staff with general IT problems and questions
Image computers and install software applications
Setup computers and equipment in offices, labs, etc.
Transport equipment between buildings
Various other duties and tasks assigned by CAS-IT staff
