About The Position
Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern to work on general civil engineering tasks in its Transportation Market at the West Palm Beach, Florida office. The intern will gain experience with drainage design, highway and airfield design, and civil engineering site design projects across local, national, and international work. The role includes transportation design and drafting, collaboration with senior designers and design teams, occasional field tasks, and preparing and checking design computations and quantity estimates.
Requirements
- Have attained at least sophomore status in college.
- Be currently and actively enrolled in a four-year college or university.
- Be actively pursuing at least a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Have experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD.
- Previous experience with engineering design and analysis software.
Responsibilities
- Perform transportation-related design and drafting tasks using Bentley OpenRoads Designer roadway design software.
- Work with senior designers and design teams to solve engineering problems and produce high-quality design documents.
- Perform occasional field-related tasks.
- Prepare and check design computations and quantity estimates.
