About The Position

The intern is responsible for the supervision, training, and management of the food operation. Ensures that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served. At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. Requirements

• Must be a student at WNMUE
• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic
• May require walking from one side of campus to another regardless of adverse weather
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• May require working with chemicals, heated equipment, steam and other at risk conditions
• Strong organizational skills

• Have good idea about social media (photos, videos, promotional post, etc)
• Should have an idea of graphic design
• Should have some practice in cash handling

Responsibilities

• Going around the dining hall and gathering surveys from students but also faculty and staff who join us for lunch and dinner.
• Going around campus and promoting the food and events that will be served in the dining hall.
• Running all social media accounts of the dining hall.
• Tabling events in the dining room when we have weekly/monthly events.
• Responsible for check-ins with the district marketing team to help elevate the experience in the dining hall.
• Other duties assigned by manager.
