About The Position

This position will support the Associate Director in educating students about resources and opportunities, including study abroad and NSE. The intern will facilitate information sessions, present information about International Education/Study Abroad to various groups, assist with administrative tasks, and engage with visitors and external partners.

Requirements

• Successfully completed at least one semester at NCF (1 successful contract)
• Interest in helping fellow students succeed academically and personally
• Willingness to learn about accommodations, accessibility, and student support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to scheduled hours
• Self-motivated and able to contribute as part of a team
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Educating students in individual and group settings about resources
• Collaborating with students to explore opportunities, including study abroad and NSE
• Facilitating and co-facilitating information sessions and tabling events
• Presenting information about International Education/Study Abroad, upon request, to student organizations, residence halls, classrooms, and other groups
• Assisting with administrative tasks
• Engaging with visitors/external partners as needed
• Other duties as assigned
