About The Position

This internship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic academic medical center environment. Interns will contribute to key projects, support daily operations, and gain insight into the complexities of healthcare administration, patient services, clinical operations, research support, or other key functions. Education and Experience Required: Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program
• Strong interest in healthcare operations or administration.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with departmental projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Support data collection, entry, analysis, and reporting activities.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, workflow optimization, and service enhancement projects.
• Participate in meetings, presentations, and collaborative initiatives across departments.
• Shadow professionals in clinical, operational, or research settings to gain exposure to healthcare processes and systems.
• Provide general support to operational teams, including scheduling, documentation, and customer service tasks.
• Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.
