About The Position

This is a 4-month internship position for the Fall Term, running from September 7, 2026, to December 18, 2026. The intern will assist the DevOps team with daily tasks and will be assigned a special project, likely involving Python and Cloud Infrastructure. The role offers the opportunity to work with development teams and learn about the technologies behind their services. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days per week in the Montreal, QC office.

Requirements

Passion for technology and a desire to automate everything.
Ability to work well independently and in teams.
Knowledge of and the ability to learn various development and scripting languages, specifically Python, as well as workflow automation.
Passion for solving complex problems; ability to create or identify solutions that are well-tested and maintainable.
Knowledge of the UNIX or Linux | Windows operating system.
Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located (Canada).
Must submit a Knockri Assessment to be considered.

Nice To Haves

Ability to graphically represent concepts and architectures in documentation.
Experience working in agile software development teams.
Any experience with Cloud hosting providers (Google, Amazon, or Azure).
Kubernetes / Docker knowledge.

Responsibilities

Assist the DevOps team in day-to-day tasks.
Be assigned a special project to complete during the internship, likely involving Python and Cloud Infrastructure.

Collaborate with developers as part of a DevOps team.
Learn existing tools and offerings.
Gain understanding of the problems the team is trying to solve.
Play a meaningful part in the build and release processes of current solutions portfolio.
