About The Position

This internship offers a unique opportunity for a current student, preferably in a field related to graphic design, visual arts, marketing, or communications, to gain real-world experience with a nationally recognized dining program. The intern will assist in creating high-quality visual content, ensuring brand consistency, supporting marketing campaigns, and contributing to design concepts. The role involves preparing files for production, assisting with image editing, and organizing creative assets. Aramark emphasizes skill development and making a positive impact, with job duties subject to change.

Requirements

  • Must be a current student, preferably in a field related to graphic design, visual arts, marketing, or communications.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Canva or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to accept and implement constructive feedback.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • A portfolio showcasing original design work (can include academic, personal, or professional projects).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their design requirements.
  • Knowledge of photography and image editing techniques.
  • Interest in sustainability or campus dining services is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating high-quality visual content for various mediums, including posters, flyers, social media graphics, digital signage, and web assets.
  • Help ensure brand consistency across all materials by adhering to Seminole Dining’s visual identity guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Media Coordinator to design marketing materials that support campus campaigns, events, and promotions.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new design concepts and strategies to engage the student body.
  • Prepare files for print and digital production, ensuring they meet all technical specifications.
  • Assist in editing and curating images for marketing collateral, as needed.
  • Organize and maintain a digital library of creative assets, including templates, images, and design elements.
