About The Position

This position assists in the responsibilities of the football program by handling practice and game video. The role requires filming and uploading videos for practices and games, adhering to UMAC guidelines for video footage, setting up and storing video equipment, and working with the HUDL coordinator. The student will also perform other duties as requested or assigned. As part of a faith-driven community, the employee will serve as a minister of the gospel, partnering with the University to disciple students and with Northwestern Media to lead people to Christ.

Requirements

  • Basic camera operation and videography
  • Ability to learn sports videos systems such as Hudl
  • Knowledge of basic rules and regulations of the sport you are working
  • Able to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, tactful and courteous manner
  • Maintain a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, reflect His character in all interactions, and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, Doctrinal Statement and Declaration of Christian Community
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and related software
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
  • Must pass background check as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

  • Film and upload videos for practices and games
