About The Position
The Facilities Landscape Operations Department of Wheaton College is looking for students to shovel snow or spread salt in icy conditions. You will be placed on a team and assigned to a specific area around campus buildings to clear stairs and areas directly around the building. This is a good job for friends and roommates, as preferences for working together are considered. You are usually called out before 6:00 am for overnight snow or late afternoon, depending on the weather.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, walk and stand for hours at a time.
