Requirements

Pursuing Doctorate Degree in Psychology (including an APA-approved pre-doctoral clinical internship or equivalent)
Ability to relate to children and adolescents
Professional attitude and demeanor
Collaborative attitude
Team-oriented sensibilities
Basic interviewing and counseling skills
Knowledge of psychosocial assessment diagnosis of psychological conditions
Up to 1 year experience with administration, scoring and basic interpretation of individual tests of intelligence, achievement, personality and standardized checklists (with supervision)

Responsibilities

Individual counseling/psychotherapy
Group counseling and classroom-based intervention
Prevention and educational services
Parent consultation and family counseling
Consultation and support to teachers, administrators and school personnel
Psychological and psycho-educational assessment and evaluation
Referral and service coordination with other community agencies and programs
Assist clinical staff and/or program director with administrative duties, program development, and program evaluation (as directed by program director)
