About The Position

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has a unique combination of education, research, and clinical programs that encourages and supports teamwork and diversity. We champion being a collaborative health care organization, focused on improving patient care and the lives of Arkansans. The Student Employee provides various research and support functions within UAMS. Position functions at the discretion of the Dean, Department Chairman, or faculty member. This position will work with AR Poison Center, which is a 24/7 Call center.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in the College of Pharmacy PharmD program or PEP Graduate Program

Responsibilities

Assist with research projects by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
Support preparation of research materials, reports, and project proposals
Maintain accurate and organized research records and documentation
Assist faculty and leadership with ongoing research and administrative needs
Support daily operations of the Arkansas Poison Center, including documentation and data tracking
Participate in quality improvement and research-related initiatives within the call center environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support research goals and program outcomes
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and research standards
Perform other duties as assigned
