About The Position
Don't want to stand behind a counter taking orders, or be stuck inside on a boring assembly line? Our students are hard-working, independent workers up on their feet! You'll play an important role in the operations of the company because your work helps ensure the health and safety of our animals. We need people who have a fine attention to detail and care about the facility and the welfare of the animals. Our students perform a variety of functions like cleaning cages; but you also get to move animals from one building to another using a "buggie" transport vehicle. The shift is primarily Monday - Friday, 3- 6pm when school is in session, and 630-930am Saturdays. Pay rate for student positions is $17HR - NEW UPDATED RATE!!
Requirements
- handle the physical requirements of lifting, cleaning and basic health
- don't mind getting their hands dirty, to play a key role in animal welfare
- Good communication and organizational skills are essential as well as the ability to work independently or with others
