About The Position

The financial aid department oversees the Work Study program which provides JCCC students an opportunity to work in a part-time capacity while attending school to earn money to assist in education expenses.

Requirements

• Must be approved for and awarded Federal Work Study by the JCCC Financial Aid Office
• Current student at JCCC
• While performing duties in the work study role you may have to frequently stand, talk, hear, walk, sit, and occasionally push or lift items.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline customer service
• Provides general computer support for College systems
• Assists with scanning if needed
• Ability to work with students, employees, and community members from diverse backgrounds
