About The Position

Texas A&M University Health Science Center, Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, founded in 1905, is a nationally recognized center for oral health sciences education, research, specialized patient care, and continuing dental education. This Student Development Program Aide position supports Student Development programs during the Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters by assisting with planning, coordination, and day-to-day program activities. This is a wage position established to accommodate a temporary organizational need, and TAMU does not guarantee any set number of hours or length of employment in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • One year of clinic/practice experience
  • DDS degree from accredited US dental school
  • Texas Dental License
  • Experience teaching at any level or serving as a mentor

Responsibilities

  • Support Student development Summer, Fall, and Spring programs
  • Assist/Conduct courses as required
  • Coordinate, prepare and plan for assigned course
