STUDENT- Content Creator in the Division of Marketing Communications
About The Position
We are a team of content creators, marketing experts, designers, writers, developers, photographers, and more, responsible for managing the Ithaca College brand and assisting campus partners with their marketing, design, content, and web needs. We tell the stories of our faculty, students, staff, alumni, and friends in diverse and vibrant ways to inform, engage, and inspire action. Our partnerships across campus aim to showcase distinctive educational experiences, create content that helps prospective students and families envision themselves at IC, share voices and stories demonstrating IC’s strengths and values, and highlight the achievements and impact of our community members. This student position offers meaningful experiential learning opportunities to develop transferable skills, apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, and foster personal and professional growth.
Requirements
- Must be a current student.
- Ability to create vlogs on YouTube.
- Comfortable being in the spotlight for Instagram takeovers.
- Writing skills for news stories.
- Willingness to be a student subject or model.
- Interest in interviewing and production assistance.
