Requirements

Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate day program at SNHU.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 70lbs.
Ability to work nights and weekends is required.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and basic technical knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist in the setup and arrangement of event spaces, including staging, seating, tables, and signage, following the provided event plans by the Event Operations Coordinator.
Assist with the transportation, loading, unloading, and placement of event equipment, materials, and supplies.
Help prepare the event venue by ensuring proper placement of amenities, such as tables, chairs, and trash receptacles.
Collaborate effectively with other members of the Student Event Setup Crew and university staff to ensure timely completion of setup tasks and smooth event execution.
Identify and troubleshoot any technical or logistical issues that may arise during the setup process, promptly reporting them to the Event Operations Coordinator or the appropriate staff member.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of event attendees, staff, and yourself during setup and teardown activities.
