About The Position
This is a free, state-certified nurse aide training program that is completed in 17 days. To be considered for the class, applicants must provide a completed application, valid photo identification, and Social Security card at the time of their interview. Due to the fast-paced nature of the class, no absences or tardiness are permitted. Students must maintain a grade average of 85 to continue in the course. Books and supplies will be provided on the first day and returned upon graduation. Students will be required to purchase one set of scrubs. Acceptance into the class will be communicated via phone call before the class begins. Students are selected based on facility need, shift availability, entrance exam score, flexibility, previous work history, and attitude. The best qualified candidates will be chosen. Employment opportunities may be available upon successful completion of the course.
