About The Position
Valley View hospital is looking for a Student Clinical Data Intern to gain practical experience in various clinical data abstraction and analytics settings, develop competency in administrative skills, and enhance understanding of healthcare delivery systems while working under the supervision of experience clinical quality and analytics staff. This position does not provide direct patient care.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate level academic program with a technical focus, such as mathematics, engineering, computer science, nursing, pre-med, or basic sciences.
Responsibilities
- Gain practical experience in various clinical data abstraction and analytics settings.
- Develop competency in administrative skills.
- Enhance understanding of healthcare delivery systems.
- Work under the supervision of experienced clinical quality and analytics staff.
- Travel across departments on- and off-campus to accomplish time-sensitive errands and communication.
