About The Position

Kaplan is seeking highly motivated Student Brand Ambassadors to join their team. This role involves increasing Kaplan's visibility and market share on campus, or virtually, through various initiatives and activities. These activities include lead generation, selling Kaplan courses, grassroots marketing, student organization presentations, relationship building, and social media engagement. The position is paid, starting at $15/hour, with opportunities for bonuses based on lead and enrollment targets. The hours are flexible, ranging from approximately 5 to 15+ hours per week. Kaplan provides a paid training program to equip ambassadors with the necessary information and tools for success.

Requirements

  • Current sophomore, junior, or senior on campus.
  • Engaged in campus community or an active member/leader of a student club or organization.
  • Skilled in finding relevant student groups and fostering relationships.
  • Active on social media with an engaged audience and strong digital presence.
  • Creative problem solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives while working independently and remotely.
  • Able to work in a virtual role while staying active, engaged, and responsive with manager.
  • Eager to gain valuable marketing, sales, and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Must be a proactive, self-starter, and motivated with excellent time management skills.
  • High energy with a get-it-done attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Use existing connections to build and strengthen Kaplan relationships with student organizations.
  • Collaborate with full-time campus-focused partners to generate leads and enrollments through on-campus initiatives and social media efforts.
  • Connect students ready to enroll in a course with the appropriate test prep expert.
  • Execute grassroots marketing initiatives, including on-campus events, tables, fairs, and flyer distribution.
  • Develop new relationships and establish partnerships with influential student groups and organizations.
  • Present to students on campus to share how Kaplan’s products and resources can help them achieve their goals.
  • Utilize campus knowledge and expertise to bring Kaplan to relevant campus activities and initiatives.
  • Create and share content through personal social media channels to engage students with the Kaplan brand and experience.
