About The Position
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is committed to educating students to be culturally, globally, socially, historically, and environmentally astute, and to become civically responsible alumni able to navigate an increasingly complex and interconnected world. We are seeking a reliable, organized professional with excellent customer service skills to join us as a Student Assistant. Under direct supervision, assists with developing and executing social media communication strategy, creating and sharing engaging content, expanding reach and engagement, utilizing social data, and collaborating with other departments to coordinate actions.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and perform assigned work
- Follow oral instructions
- Work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students
- Communicate effectively with all levels
- Read and write English at a level appropriate to the position
- Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
- Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
- In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
- Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
