About The Position

The NMSU Foundation, established in 1959, is a privately governed nonprofit corporation dedicated to supporting New Mexico State University. Requirements

  • Be a full-time, degree-seeking NMSU (undergraduate or graduate) student and maintain student status during the term of employment.
  • Commit to a full-year position and work for a minimum of two consecutive semesters (Fall and Spring), not including vacation periods.
  • Successful applicants may be required to pass a criminal and/or motor vehicle background check.

Responsibilities

  • Work a minimum of 10 hours per week (15-20 hours possible) during working hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
  • Be available for occasional evening and weekend work in addition to scheduled hours.
  • Attend monthly meetings from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. (day to be announced).
  • Participate in all components of the training process.
  • Be in office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026 for training.
