About The Position

The Office of Immigration Services (OIS) seeks student assistants to support its work providing legal and strategic U.S. immigration counsel to the Harold Hamm Health Campus, driving immigration compliance, and assisting with the immigration needs of international students, employees, and their families. The role includes updating student reference materials, assisting with student information reporting, and welcoming and directing office visitors. Applicants must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma for the Spring 2027 Term and have a current class schedule. Hiring is contingent upon verification of current student status and a background check. International students on the University of Oklahoma Norman campus are not eligible because they are not authorized to work at the Harold Hamm Health Campus.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in the Spring 2027 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
• Must have a current class schedule.
• Familiarity with working in a professional office setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• International students on the University of Oklahoma Norman campus are not eligible for this position because they are not authorized to work at the Harold Hamm Health Campus.

Responsibilities

• Work with PDSO/DSOs to update reference materials for international students.
• Assist PDSO/DSOs with student information reporting.
• Welcome students and visitors to the office and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
