About The Position

Assist staff with Digital content creation and assist with supporting the College of Business and Economics marketing and communication initiatives.

Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
Ability to learn and perform assigned work
Follow oral instructions
Work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students
Communicate effectively with all levels
Read and write English at a level appropriate to the position
Basic familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
Comfortable using video editing features and supporting apps (e.g., CapCut, iMovie, Canva Video, or similar tools)
Basic understanding of graphic design principles and/or willingness to learn design software
Strong written communication skills with attention to grammar and detail
Creative mindset with an eye for visual content and storytelling
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple small projects
Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading abilities
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with various departments

Current enrollment in business, marketing, communications, or related program preferred
Interest in digital marketing and content creation
Previous experience with content creation (personal social media, class projects, etc.) helpful but not required
Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
