About The Position

The Architectural Intern is primarily responsible for supporting the Planning team within the Space and Facilities Planning department. The Architectural Intern will be part of the New Hospital team and provide support in the areas of medical equipment coordination, life safety reviews, reviewing submittments and RFI’s, picking up redlines and updating equipment drawings all in Revit. The Architectural Intern will work closely with the tower team to Coordinators in their daily work.

Requirements

• Working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, landscape architecture, interior design or similar degree.
• Completed at least 2 semesters of coursework related to the degree.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, graphic).
• Able to work in 2-4 hour blocks of time.
• Minimum of 8 hours per week during regular business hours.
• Able to work up to a maximum of 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support the Planning team within the Space and Facilities Planning department.
• Provide support in medical equipment coordination.
• Provide support in life safety reviews.
• Review submittals and RFIs.
• Pick up redlines.
• Update equipment drawings in Revit.
• Work closely with the tower team to Coordinators in their daily work.
