Student Ambassador
About The Position
Flocker is a mission-driven company improving mental health and advancing suicide prevention by helping people connect in real life. Our platform uses technology intentionally—just enough to get users off their phones and into meaningful experiences. Create, discover, and join local events, build authentic connections, and stay in control of your privacy. We’re looking for motivated, outgoing college students to join us as Student Ambassadors. This is a flexible, hands-on opportunity to gain real experience in marketing, community building, and startup growth- while helping bring people together on your campus. You’ll join a small, collaborative team with experience from ByteDance, Meta, Google, Coinbase, and Microsoft Research, bringing together excellence in design, science, and engineering.
Requirements
- Friendly, proactive, and comfortable talking to new people
- Currently enrolled in university/college
- Interested in startups, mental health, or building community
- Self-motivated and reliable
Responsibilities
- Spread the word about Flocker through flyer posting and on-campus outreach
- Talk to students and build excitement through casual conversations and canvassing
- Help grow the Flocker waitlist and early user community
- Assist in planning and hosting small events, activations, or campus booths
- Provide feedback and ideas to help shape the product and strategy
Benefits
- $17/hr with an option for a promotion to Lead Student Ambassador and potential full-time employment
