About The Position

The Production Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating production activities, as well as managing and mentoring production staff. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field of study.
  • 5+ years in a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 7 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
  • Experience with corrective action planning.
  • Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Training certification.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study.

Responsibilities
