About The Position

As part of the Cash Prime Brokerage team, the individual will be responsible for optimizing, and facilitating growth for the Fixed Income Prime Broker product. The individual will work alongside Sales/Origination, In Business Risk, FRM, Credit, Operations, Technology and product partners to develop the platform, manage risk, win new client mandates, increase share of wallet, optimize financial resource, create new innovate solutions for our clients and advance the overall FIPB offering.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years structuring experience from a financial institution
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
  • Must be able to obtain the Series 7, 63
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple functional groups in a cohesive manner.

Responsibilities

  • Helping accomplish the strategic goals of the fixed income platform.
  • Monitoring key risk mitigants including New and existing client portfolio analysis, Client clearing deposits Monitoring potential exposure on future settlements, Intraday and end of day cash reporting, Partnering with in business risk and credit on client reviews.
  • Partner with Middle Office and Client Service teams to facilitate solutions for clients as it relates to daily trading activity, new markets, and resolve any client issues.
  • Partner with sales and grow market share with existing client.
  • Facilitate seamless client onboarding.
  • Work with technology and product development to provide platform and client solutions and streamline processes.
  • Assist with the monitoring of platform financial resources including optimizing RWAs, balance sheet, credit line usage and liquidity.
  • Report to management on client and product profitability, trends and return profiles.
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same.

  • Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe.
