KBRA is seeking talented individuals to join our 10-week summer internship program, hosted from June 2 through August 5, 2027. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience at the market’s fastest growing credit rating agency and to learn valuable skills coveted in any corporate setting. This internship will be based out of our New York office. Interns are expected to be in-person four days per week (Monday through Thursday) and have the option to work remotely on Fridays. The application deadline is September 30, 2026. As an intern, you will be assigned to support one of KBRA’s Structured Finance credit rating teams. Structured Finance (aka securitization) is a form of financing where assets are transferred to a “special-purpose entity,” which issues debt that is independent of the asset originator. KBRA’s Structured Finance Group has four broad sub-groups: Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), Residential Mortgage-Back Securities (RMBS), and Structured Credit. Visit kbra.com to learn more about each sector. In addition to the work you will complete within your assigned department, there will be a capstone project to be presented to senior staff at the end of the internship. This project is meant to be an opportunity to apply existing skills and knowledge as well as what has been learned throughout the summer. There will also be opportunities to meet and interact with your fellow interns through Lunch and Learns, social events, and other enrichment workshops.
