Structured Finance Analyst
About The Position
POSITION PURPOSE: Directly reporting to the Team Lead of Structured Finance, the Structured Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Finance Team. The Structured Financial Analyst will support power purchase agreement (PPA) pricing, corporate and project finance modeling, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and other strategic planning efforts for Standard Solar, a developer, installer and owner of solar energy systems. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Bachelor´s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another related field. Two or more years relevant work experience. Proficient in financial modeling concepts. Expert with MS Excel, and highly skilled with other MS Office products including PowerPoint and Word. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all departments within company. Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Strong grasp of financial/accounting principles. High attention to details. Good communication skills. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Support Standard Solar’s business development team by analyzing solar energy project economics and calculating profitable Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) pricing. Manage dynamic workstream of PPA pricing requests, documenting assumptions and results for quotes in Salesforce. Analyze trends and monitor pricing results and variances to continuously improve pricing process and strategy. Develop and manage accurate and understandable financial models in MS Excel and on other financial model platforms for internal and external audiences. Research and evaluate federal, state and local solar energy incentives and maintain a list of applicable incentives. Prepare presentation materials for corporate management and project investors. Produce short-term and long-term corporate profitability and cashflow forecasts for management and investors. Ad hoc analysis including market trends, corporate operations, project financial performance. Assist with obtaining structured financing deals Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Requirements
- Bachelor´s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another related field.
- Two or more years relevant work experience.

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business from an accredited four-year college or university with two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a financial analysis role with strong financial modeling skills.
