About The Position

We are seeking motivated Structured Cabling Technicians to join our growing Field Services team. The Structured Cabling Technician (VFT) plays a vital role in designing, installing, and maintaining high-quality cabling solutions for diverse client needs. In this role, you'll travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling and telecommunications equipment. You'll work directly with internal support teams and customers to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of consistent work experience.
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
Ability to obtain aerial lift certifications.
Ability to lift, push safely, and pull up to 50 pounds independently on a repetitive basis.
Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Willingness to travel 95% nationwide, including extended overnight travel.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 2 years of experience in structured cabling, field services, telecommunications, or a related technical field.
At least 1 year of low-voltage cabling experience.
Experience working in commercial environments performing cable installation and equipment deployment.
Experience leading or mentoring junior technicians is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling and telecommunications equipment.
Work directly with internal support teams and customers to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Install, terminate, and trace structured cabling, including Cat5, Cat6, Coaxial, and other low-voltage cabling.
Work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces.
Use hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques.
Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and adapt to new challenges.
Work independently while utilizing remote technical support.
