About The Position

Shoreline is seeking a motivated Structured Cabling & Installation Technician to support businesses across Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois. This role offers a hands-on work environment with daily variety, unique challenges, and opportunities to work with a wide range of technologies. You’ll gain experience working with structured cabling systems, IT infrastructure installations, security systems (doors, cameras), audio and video systems, and telecommunications equipment. The primary responsibility will be installing physical equipment and cabling that form the foundation of client technology infrastructure.

• Experience working with technology or IT systems
• Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience
• Clean background (no prior convictions or felonies)
• Military service (especially with active security clearance)
• Clean driving record
• 3+ professional references

Responsibilities

• Install structured cabling and hardware systems onsite
• Assist with deployment of IT and low-voltage systems
• Work with team members to complete projects efficiently
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
