About The Position

Lead and Perform Static, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (FDT) stress analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures using classical hand calculation and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Should be having metallic and composite structure stress analysis working experience. Understanding of load paths, extraction of loads from Finite Element Models (GFEM/DFEM). Determination of critical failure modes and performing analysis to ensure structural integrity. Mitigation techniques for low margins of safety Preparation of stress dossiers as per certification requirements Review and validate Stress analysis output and Stress Dossiers to ensure compliance with technical requirements. Drive issue resolution by interfacing with cross functional teams (Design, manufacturing, quality, configuration management, etc.). Serve as a technical representative for onsite offshore coordination, addressing queries, clarifications, and technical escalations. Applicant should preferably be familiar with and have prior working experience on Airbus Stress Tools, including ISAMI.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis for structure.
  • Advanced Static and non-linear analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of hand calculations and FE analysis.
  • Knowledge of Airbus processes and procedures relating to design (RSDP, SIDP, AP, ABD, AIPI, AIPS, etc.).
  • Understanding of aerospace design principles and airworthiness requirements.
  • Experience of using Airbus Supply (DocMaster, Airnavx etc.).
  • Ensuring the safe operation of Airbus aircraft with respect to structural integrity.
  • Airbus stress Signatory experience (Checker/approver).
  • Valid Airbus training certificates in AIRBUS SAP, ISAMI, VPM and PASS SSI.
  • Bi-lingual (French and English).
  • BE / BTECH/MTECH/MS or equivalent degree (Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering)
  • 5–10 years of hands ‑ on experience in aerospace structural stress analysis.
  • Proven experience working on Airbus aircraft programs (A320, A330, A350, A380, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Applicant should preferably be familiar with and have prior working experience on Airbus Stress Tools, including ISAMI.
