About The Position

Riley Power group, LLC is a full-service maintenance and capital construction services company headquartered in Rock Hill, SC. We work nationwide on some of the most challenging, exciting construction and maintenance projects in the industrial sector. We are currently hiring skilled first-class FCAW Welders for multiple sites in the US. Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of related experience with High School diploma/GED and/or certification in assigned area preferred.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision/oversight.
• Have working knowledge of precision calibration tools (weld gauges).
• Be able to operate multiple types of welding equipment.
• Possess good trouble shooting / problem solving skills.
• Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work multiple shifts (as needed) and travel (as required).
• Able to read and interpret drawings and weld symbols.
• Must be a team player.
• Flexible, willing to work long hours, safety oriented.
• FCAW Welding in all positions 2G, 3G & 4G positions
• Test will be �' plate.
• Welding tests will be bent immediately after the test
• Successful candidate must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to COVID-19 screening, medical, psychological (if required by site), background and substance abuse screening(s).
• Proof of Identification - Driver's license or any other identification card issued by federal, state, or local government that contains a photograph and the person's name, date of birth, gender, height, eye color, and street address.
• Proof of US Citizenship (must provide one)
• U.S. birth certificate (birth documents issued by a hospital, notifications of birth registrations; and Puerto Rico birth certificates issued before July 1, 2010, are not accepted
• Valid, unexpired U.S. passport or U.S. passport card
• U.S. Certificate of Citizenship or Certificate of Naturalization
• A record of Military Processing-Armed forces of the United States (Form DD 1966), provided it reflects U.S. citizenship.
• RPG participates in the eVerify program.

Nice To Haves

• Respirator Qualification preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding processes on carbon steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals, metal alloys and carbon steel with a standard bevel.
• Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
