About The Position
This is a great opportunity for entry-level welders with at least 1 year of hands-on experience looking to grow in a fabrication shop environment supporting the oil and gas industry. You’ll gain experience working on custom structural builds—not repetitive production.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of on-the-job welding experience
- Ability to pass 3G & 4G tests
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Experience with structural steel and fabrication tools
- Reliable and open to overtime
Responsibilities
- Weld heavy structural steel (skids, platforms, pipe supports, equipment bases)
- Read blueprints and weld symbols
- Ensure weld quality (penetration, strength, appearance)
- Inspect and correct welds as needed
- Use grinders and basic fabrication tools
- Follow safety standards and meet production deadlines
