About The Position

Now Hiring: Structural Welders | $20-$24/hr Looking for a great opportunity to grow your welding career? We’re hiring entry-level Structural Welders with at least 1 year of hands-on experience to join a fabrication shop supporting the oil & gas industry. This is a great fit for welders wanting to build real fabrication experience on custom structural projects—not repetitive production work.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on welding experience in a shop or industrial setting
• Ability to successfully pass required weld tests
• Basic blueprint reading and weld symbol knowledge
• Experience working with structural steel fabrication
• Familiarity with grinders, measuring tools, and shop equipment
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
• Candidates must be able to pass: 3G Plate Test (MIG, full pass) 4G Plate Test

Nice To Haves

• Oil & gas or heavy fabrication experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Weld heavy structural steel components including skids, platforms, pipe supports, and equipment bases
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Perform quality welds with proper penetration, strength, and appearance
• Inspect completed welds and make corrections or repairs as needed
• Operate grinders, torches, and other basic fabrication tools
• Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain production deadlines
• Work alongside fabrication teams to complete custom structural builds
